ABOUT US

Timm Carper has had a love for the game of football as a player and a coach for

over 30 years. Playing Pop Warner Football at the age of 9, his prowess on the

field blossomed at Chantilly High School, where he was a 3-year letterman for the

freshman, JV and Varsity teams. He was a member of an undefeated (8-0) team

his freshman year and became the starting cornerback (CB) on a regional runner-up

team that went 9-2 his senior year.

Timm was a 4-year letterman at James Madison University, where he walked onto

the football team. He promptly earned himself a starting position at Cornerback

and a full athletic scholarship. He was appointed as special teams’ starter on the

punt, kickoff and kickoff return teams. He finished his collegiate career with 200

tackles, 16 PBUs, 2 interceptions, 1 sack, 1 forced fumble, 3 fumble recoveries

and 1 blocked field goal.

His successful collegiate career earned him an invitation to the Regional Combine

held at Rutgers University. He received two tryout opportunities with the Albany

Firebirds of the Arena Football League and the British Columbia Lions of the

Canadian Football League. However, he decided to hang up his cleats and

pursue an IT career.

Unable to stay away from the game, Timm began his coaching career in the fall of

2011 with the Central Loudoun Boys Football League (CLBFL) in Leesburg,

Virginia. From 2012-2018, he joined the coaching staff of Dominion High School in

Sterling, Virginia. Coach Carp (as his players and coaching colleagues referred to him) spent his first season as the Assistant JV and Varsity coach, coaching Defensive Backs and Wide Receivers. He became the JV Head Coach in his second year on staff, while coaching Linebackers and Running Backs for the varsity. For the next 5 years Coach Carp was a Varsity Assistant Coach and the Special Teams Coordinator on the Dominion Staff, while still coaching Linebackers and Running Backs. Under his tutelage, Coach Carp has coached and trained 2 First Team All-Conference Running Backs, 2 First Team All-Conference Linebackers, 1 First Team All-Region Linebacker, 1 Second Team All-Region Linebacker, 1 First Team All-State Linebacker and 1 All-American Linebacker. In the spring of 2018, Coach Carp joined the coaching staff at Bishop Denis O’Connell High School in Arlington, VA as the Defensive Backs and Wide Receivers coach, as well as Assistant Defensive Passing Game Coordinator. Though Coach Carp only spent one season with the Knights, he coached a First Team All-WCAC Free Safety, who also happened to be a freshman.

Coach Carp began working with his players after practice and during the off season,

focusing on techniques and fundamentals. As his players requested more

individualized training, Coach Carp began to develop specific drills and workout plans

for their respective positions. This marks the beginning of his dream, Skills n

Drills Institute, where he could cultivate strong leaders on and off the field.

Coach Carp completed his bachelor’s degree in Integrated Science and Technology

from James Madison University in 2000. He married the love of his life, Tashi

Ford of Richmond, VA in 2005. They have two beautiful daughters.
